DDI urges Electorate not to be detered with postponed polls.

Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has advised electorates to avail themselves with voting rudiments before voting in the general elections.

The Governor made the remarks while addressing Congregation at the Christian Reformed Church Center Jalingo.

He said electorates must ensure that they vote their preferred candidates with the correct thumb which will ensure that their votes count.

Governor Darius Ishaku revealed that money saved to fish out ghost workers in the state was judiciously used to engage three thousand teachers promising to engage and employ more youths in his second term.

In his sermon, Reverend Ezra Shonta encouraged the congregation not to allow the postponement of the Saturday Presidential and National Assembly elections dampen their enthusiasm to vote on the reschedule date.

Shonta, who read from the book of Habakuk Chapter three verses seventeen to nineteen said since God has unique plans for his Children there would be no need to panic as the extension of the elections is for good.

The service featured Special prayers for the success of this year’s general elections and songs rendition by various groups.

Wife of the Governor Anna Ishaku,Commissioner of Finance Jesse Adi Ashumate and other aides accompanied the Governor to the Church Service.
