HOPE AFRESH FOUNDATION TRAINS TARABA WOMEN ON ELECTION MANAGEMENT.

Hope Afresh Foundation Taraba today organized a workshop to enlightened women and groups on the conducts of 2019 general election.

The workshop titled WOMEN ON ELECTION MANAGEMENT gathered women and groups from various Local Government Area of the state that came out in large numbers to participate in the training.

Barr. Mrs. Anna Darius Ishaku, Founder/ CEO Hope Afresh Foundation said the workshop came as a result of the recent workshop she attended in Abuja organized by the wife of the PDP Presidential Candidate Mrs Titi Atiku Abubakar to all governors wives which propelled her to replicate same in Taraba for her people.

The speakers at the workshop were Hon. Mairo Tafida, Mr. Daniel Dishon and Hon. Fati who spoke on pre- election rules, voter’s enlightenment and election guidelines, operation win your polling units respectively. The major aim of the workshop is to educate the people on what they need to know before, during and after election.

Some of the participants at the workshop expressed joy for the opportunity given to them by Her Excellency to be part of the workshop.

In her closing remarks, wife of the Senator representing Northern Taraba, Hajiya Mamman Fati Lau said the workshop came at the right time and urged the women to take what they had learned to their homes to help educate other members of their families. She thanked the Governor’s wife for hosting the workshop.

The workshop was attended by wife of Taraba State SSG, Mrs. Josephine  Jellason, Commissioner for Women affairs, Mrs. Lois Emmanuel, Commissioner for Environment, Mrs. Rebecca Manassah, wife of deputy majority leader Taraba State House of Assembly, female SSA’s and SA’s, wives of Local Government chairmen and other women groups.
