Governor Ishaku Donates Brand New vehicles to Judges and Security Agencies in Taraba.

  1. Taraba State Government today presented five brand new 2018 model toyota camry saloon cars to High court judges in the state to facilitate their work. The presentation took place at the premises of the Government house Jalingo.

Similarly, three hilux vans were presented by Governor Ishaku to three security agencies of the state which includes Custom, Immigration and Prisons services respectively.

Governor Ishaku noted that it has become necessary for the government to play their own part to the judicial arm of the government so that they too can execute their duties very well. He promised to keep supporting Security personnels and Judiciary in the state.

The Rescue captain expressed gratitude to the security team for their stern efforts in combating crimes and urged them to redouble their efforts in view of the insecurity bedeviling the state.

The Governor applauded them for their patience stating that governance is tasking bringing into cognisance that resources are scarce. He also appreciated his Deputy, Engr. Haruna Manu, Judges, security chiefs and people of Taraba for the support of his administration.

Hon. Justice Josephine Tuktur who spoke on behalf of the judges appreciated the Governor for the support given to the judiciary and promised to work for the rule of law to prevail in the state.

Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General of the state, Yusuf Nya Akirikwen who was represented by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Justice, Apweyang Shitta commended Governor Darius for rescuing the Judiciary through renovation of the Kona, Milesix and Mararaba Donga Magistrate Court.

He advised the beneficiaries mostly the Judges to administer justice to the poor and elites without any form of sentiments.
