Gov. Ishaku Commissions Two major Projects in Donga, Taraba State.

The Executive Governor of Taraba State, Arc. Darius Dickson Ishaku commissioned two major projects today at Donga, a local Government area of the state.

Arc. Ishaku Commissioned an Electricity Sub-station in Donga Local Government Area to help provide succour and solve the problems of lack and low electricity within the community.

The Commissioner for Rural Electrification Taraba State, Hon. Alexander Sello said this project is one which would live in the hearts of the people because it came huge and timely. Hon. Sello admonished the people of Donga to handle the project with care so that it can be sustained and as well serve them better and longer.

Earlier on, His Excellency, Gov. Ishaku who also commissioned a Magistrate Court in the same Local Government Area, said he is pleased to have commissioned yet another project in the state especially in the grassroots where the people need proper administration of the law. He urged his people to handle it with all sense of patriotism because it is a center where tears will be wiped away and justice will prevail.

The Chief Registrar Taraba state, Barr. Mrs. Clara Kataps said this project is made possible because of the Governor’s commitment in making sure that the juduciary is equipped to serve the purpose of providing justice for the common man. She said since the inception of the Chief Judge- Justice Josephine Tuktur, similar projects has been commissioned across the state with the help of the Governor’s administration.

Speaking at the event, Governor Ishaku appreciated the Donga community for taking out time to join him in the commissioning of the projects, stating his excitement of fulfilling yet another Mile stone on his Rescue agenda on the area of electricity and rule of law. He charged the people to guard the properties judiciously saying electricity comes with certain demands like paying of bills and the people must pay so that it can be sustained. Darius added that as a leader of the state, he deemed it fit to design the privatization of the Electricity issue of the area and urged the people to be patriotic wit it as it will ease alot of stress in small and medium scale businesses of the area.
