Gov. Ishaku Sponsors over 300 Taraba Muslim faithfuls for 2018 Hajj.

Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku today urged the intending Muslim pilgrims to pray for peace in the State. The Governor made this statement at the amirul hajj today at the model primary school Jalingo.
The Governor Congratulated all the intended pilgrims and said his administration is proud because last year it ranked 3rd position among the highest states to send citizens for hajj and has repeated it this year.
Ishaku said this aspect is one of the five Pillars of Islam and it is only glorious that such an  opportunity be given to faithfuls to observe this holy ordinance.  The Governor warned the intending pilgrims to stay away from anything which will go contrary to the Saudi laws. He asked them to be law abiding and good Ambassadors of Taraba as it has always been.
His Excellency urged them to pray fervently for peace because peace is one of the cardinal points of the pillars of Islam. He described the Amirul for this year’s hajj as Ambassador Waziri Idris who is a bonified Muslim filled with experience saying he has no doubt that his leadership will be successful.
The Governor commended the Taraba pilgrims welfare board for the speedy completion of the process and wished all the pilgrims a successful and fruitful 2018 pilgrimage.
The amirul for this year’s Hajj, Ambassador Waziri Idris thanked the Governor for this opportunity given to him to lead this year’s pilgrims, he pleaded with the intending pilgrims to be good ambassadors of Taraba state while away and to also remember that prayer is the reason for the journey. Mallam Idris admonished them to make Taraba proud because despite the scarcity of funds in the country at large, Governor Ishaku was able to pay for over 300 Taraba Muslims for this year’s hajj. Amb. Waziri prayed that God will uphold the Governor’s wishes.
