The state chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comr. Udi Adamu has tasked security operatives to redouble their efforts in tackling security challenges bedeviling some parts of the state.
A statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Chairman on Media and Publicity Munu Mairiga says the killing of a final year student of the College of Nursing and Midwifery is a source of concern to all citizens.
It says the constitutional roles of security operatives is to maintain law and order and hitherto protect lives and property which they cannot renege at this time of heightening politicking.
The Chairman warned Youths who are constituting nuisance of the society to desist forthwith or face the consequences of their action.
It urges Youths to be calm and report miscreants elements in their domain to the security operatives in a gory and sad episode that youths now clock themselves as cultists in some parts of Jalingo.
