She stated this during the presentation of instructional materials and equipments by Fidelity Bank to Precious Kids International School Jalingo.

Unveiling the instructional materials, the Governor’s Wife commended the management and staff of Fidelity Bank for their humanitaran gesture especially to disabled persons.

She said her foundation will not relent in catering for the well being of the downtrodden in the society.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Director of Precious kids International School Magami (formally known as Magami Special school for the handicapped), Mr. James Ayagwa said the school was founded in the year 2003 by Late Stephen Igbatim Ayagwa who was a visually impaired person(blind) after his retirement in 1995.

In pursuance of his fight against street begging, he felt the right way of curtailing the menace of street begging was by educating the handicapped children ranging from five years and above.

The School has boarding facilities and is fully registered with the State Ministry of Education and has been operating a primary, junior and senior secondary level respectively.

The School has four basic sections which are the visual impaired (blind), the hearing impaired (deaf), the limbless and the conventional section. It has a total number of twenty teaching staffs and twelve non-teaching staffs respectively who are both literate and physically challenged persons.
