Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku has charged Kuru Kona to use his position in uniting people of his domain.
He said the Kona people are known for their resilience among various tribes of the Kwararafa Kingdom hence the need for the Kuru to show an exemplary life that would cement their bond.
Governor Ishaku, while recalling the ordeal of the Kona people as tribe neglected in the past stated that their patience and prayers have paid off.
The Governor challenged the people to accord respect and pay full allegiance to the Kuru Kona, who is their traditional ruler.
Earlier, Spokesman of the Community, who is the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission Fidelis Kaigama expressed gratitude to Governor Darius Ishaku for upgrading the traditional stool of the Kona Community and other projects sited in their area.
He said in view of the neglect of the Kona people in the past, the Goodwill of Governor Darius Ishaku would remain fresh with them for a long time.
Kaigama pledged the unalloyed support of the entire Kona community to the administration of Governor Darius Ishaku and his reelection bid in 2019.
