The Taraba State Government, Primary Health Care Development Agency (P.H.C.D.A) and Partners like the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) and Wealth Health Organization (W.H.O) today paid a courtesy visit to the first lady of Taraba State, Barr. Anna Ishaku regarding Maternal and Child Health week scheduled to hold from 20th to 25th November 2017 in Jalingo, Taraba State.
Briefing the Governor’s wife, the Executive Secretary (P.H.C.D.A), Mr. Aminu Hassan said the Agency and Partners are ready to ensure the smooth conduct of the Health week in Jalingo.
The Wife of the Governor applauded the Agency for its continuous effort in ensuring good health measures to tarabans especially the mothers and children in the grassroots of the State.
There will be free health services during the proposed week such as H.I.V and AIDS testing and counselling, Administration of Vitamin A, Albendazole (treatment for parasitic worm infestation) and other medical check ups.
