Anti Open Grazing Bill: Sensitization Program held in Bali LGA

Chairman of sensitization committee on Anti open grazing and ranching establishment law and Galadiman Abba Tukur Abba says Law is always right only its offenders are liable to be punished. Abba said this during sensitization to herders in Bali at the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria conference Hall. The committee chairman remarked that those kicking against the law are fabricators of lies and enemies of progress hence the call on herders to shun such agitations.

He added that Taraba state is blessed with fertile land good for farming and rearing of livestock, saying the should embrace the law to improve their revenue income.

Earlier in his address of welcome, Chairman Bali local government council, Danladi Danfulani Suntai said the visit of the committee was timely as initially, the perceptions of the law by herders was different from its real sense.

Danladi assured the readiness of the council in ensuring the implementation of the law and used for peaceful living among herders and farmers in Bali.

In his response, the Gamwari Dakka Mustapha Yusuf who represented the Lamdo Bakundi commended the committee for visit and the sensitization assuring that the Bakundi chiefdom is in full support of the law.

During the meeting, there were thorough questions ignited by herders and clear responses to same committee members and senior special assistants to the Governor, Bala Sarkin Yara And Buba JALO Sunkani. Earlier the committee paid homage on the Lamdo Bakundi to inform him of it mission in his chiefdom.
