The construction of the Mararaba Lacheke road to Pantisawa is a sign of dividends of democracy which will bring to an end the stagnation that the headquarters of the Local Government Council has suffered in the past.
The Commissioner of Works and Transport, Tafarki Agbadu Eneme made this remark during the official Flag off of the road in Mararaba by Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku. The project he said, is in fulfillment of the promise made to Yorro people during electioneering campaign by Governor Darius Ishaku.
The Works Commissioner added that since the inception of the present administration, it has constructed roads and equally completed the ones started by his predecessor, which includes Kona road, Magami road, Patanya roundabout through post office road, Federal Medical center and Takum township roads.
Others include the Chanchanji to Takum road which the construction firm has started mobilizing to the site as well as the Wukari Tsukondi road, while the dual Palace way and the Jolly Nyame road started off by the previous administration have been completed.
He went further to say that the Bali, Gashaka to Gembu road is consistently being funded by the present administration and the work has reached an appreciable level of completion.
