Christians have been charged to take time out of their challenges and busy schedules to give God quality worship for his faithfulness in their lives.
This charge was given by the Pastor in Charge of Unity Chapel, Government House Jalingo, Rev. Sheka Bambur on Sunday at Higher Grace International Church, Jalingo during the Inauguration of the GLARIC Music Ministry, Jalingo.
According to the clergy, who took his scriptural reading from the book of 2 Chronicles 5:11-14, for our praises to move the hand of God, our praises must be directed to him in addition to a life of holiness, purity and unity of the saints.
He further stressed that, when believers engage in absolute worship and praise, prison gates are opened, the captives are set free, healing, comfort, salvation amongst many others are obtained from God.
Speaking concerning the programme, the Vision bearer and Founder, Glaric Music Ministry, Jalingo, Evang. Gladys Eric Juyoh revealed that, what is happening at the moment came as a vision she received over 9 years ago.
She explained that in a vision on her way to Israel, God had instructed her to gather unto him the Priests, Kings and Queens as well as belivers who will worship him in spirit and truth in an atmosphere of praise, where the ‘worship’ of the people will become a ‘warship’ to pull the kingdom of the devil down.
She further expressed delight at the reality of the vision stressing that the event will be held periodically to worship God in an atmosphere of praise, as well as appreciated her Pastor and his wife for believing in her and providing the platform for the manifestation of the vision, her husband for standing by her and all who had supported her in making the programme a reality.
In his remarks, Hon. G. T Kataps lauded the organisers of the programme stressing that, his spirit was lifted and he smiled for the first time after 48 hours of sadness caused by situations surrounding him.
The Hon. who assured the vision bearer of his support, appreciated her for putting together such an amazing programme, stating that she has not seen anything yet as “this is just the beginning”.
Highlights of the event, include intense worship and praise and cutting of cake to mark the birthdays of Barr. Mrs. Clara Kataps and Pst. Mrs. Rose Andy as well as the event.
