Wife of the Taraba State Governor, Barr. Anna Darius Ishaku has called on the Tiv Community to support one another especially those who have been displaced. She urged them to give them a sense of belonging considering their current status.
Speaking during the visit, wife of the Governor, Barr Anna Darius Ishaku said that when people are united, they conquer together thereby she is calling on them to be united, care and feel for those that are still in fear of danger of resettling in their various domains.
She expressed delight with the report she heard that most of the displaced Tiv people have returned to their homes to continue with their normal activities and encouraged them to support one another because what happened to their community can occur in any other community.
Earlier, the State president Goodman Dahida of the Tiv Cultural Association commended the Governor’s wife for the good things for keying into the rescue mission of her husband ensuring that peace is enjoyed in the State.
He added that the entire Tiv community in the State appreciate her motherly heart towards taking immediate action when the need arises .he thereby urged her not to relent in her humanitarian services to Tarabans.
