Addressing about 40 pioneer staff of the Organisation undergoing training at the Conference Hall of the Hope Afresh Foundation Taraba, wife of the Taraba State Governor, Barr. Anna Darius Ishaku expressed delight at the outcome of the recruitment exercise, stressing that the candidates were all recruited on merit.
Barr. Anna Ishaku also charged the new employees to be committed to their new job urging them to be good ambassadors of the State.
She further warned the candidates against absconding from their places of assignment, stressing that, “it should not be said that after all being done, you still go looking for greener pastures”, adding that the job has lots of privileges and opportunities which they could tap from therefore they should be steadfast in order to justify their employment.
In an interview with journalists, the Group Chief Executive Officer, Solsan Technologies Ventures, Shola Ajay, disclosed that after series of screening and examination, 40 successful candidates had emerged to pioneer the startup of the Emergency Call Centre 112 in the State.
According to him, the ongoing training exercise is put in place to teach the Staff the etiquettes of what happens in a Communication Center as well as how to handle emergency calls from anywhere around the Country and not just in Taraba.
He stated that the trainees are made up of Agents, Team Leaders and Supervisors who may be deployed to work in other States as the need arises, adding that cases to be handled will include; drowning, fire outbreak, accidents, robbery attacks, rape, wife battering among others.
