Citizens of Taraba have been called upon to have more faith in the Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku’s administration to enable it bestow more benefits of democracy.
This call was made by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) National Vice Chairman, Ambassador Emmanuel Njiwah.
According to him, Governor Ishaku’s Rescue Agenda is poised to transform every sector in the state hence, the need for Tarabans to remain positively hopeful in spite of the present financial challenges.
Amb. Njiwah who spoke with Taravoices correspondent in Jalingo as he celebrates an additional year to his age stated that, “ Governor Ishaku is a person with focus who was selected based on outstanding successful attachments while serving the Federal Government and in the academia”.
The political icon added that the slogan of Governor Ishaku which is “Give me peace and I’ll give you development” has thus far been justified considering the fact that the state under his leadership has maintained steady recognizable peace and development.
He further maintained that “so far, Governor Ishaku has upheld the PDP manifesto and ideology which is a true instrument of positive change as opposed to the current “change” with which the entire country is burdened today “.
In his words “ despite lean resources at the Governor’s disposal, this administration has recorded remarkable peace and development that concurs with the tenets of good politics and it obviously devoid of antagonism and terrorism.
