This was made known by Taraba State Director of the Agency, Mr. Robert Gulkawi to Taravoices correspondent.
National Orientation Agency is a government parastatal saddled with the responsibility of sensitizing communities across the country on government programmes, achievements and core values.
The director of the agency highlighted some of the agencies achievements to include; reconciliation missions in unstable zones of the state, town hall meetings geared towards expressing governments programmes to the common man.
He said the Agency collaborates with ICPC, EFCC, Police force and other relevant bodies responsible for fighting crime and maintaining law and order.
The NOA (National Orientation Agency) Coordinator said the agency is in full support of the crusade of fighting corruption as Nigeria’s economy has been mismanaged by past governments, adding that corruption entails not just the monetary aspects but poor attitudes of indigenes towards constituted authority and national values such as discipline; integrity; dignity of labour; social justice and religious tolerance.
He called for the support of the state government to the Agency to perform its statutory duties.
The National Orientation Agency also advised citizens in the state to be law abiding and submissive to constitution.
