Wife of Taraba State Governor, Barr. Anna Darius Ishaku today, in company of family, friends, well wishers and top government functionaries across the nation celebrated the goodness of God in the life of Senator Binta Masi Garba, Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District.
In her goodwill message at the event which took place at the International Praise Church, Jimeta Adamawa, Barr. Ishaku stated that, it is a good thing to praise God, adding that she had come to the programme to appreciate God for what he has done in the life of the celebrant, stressing that Hon. Binta is an example for everyone.
While delivering her husband’s best whishes to the celebrant, the wife of the Governor emphasised the need to thank God in all circumstances, knowing that whatever level one aspires to reach, he can achieve success as with God all things are possible.
In her address, Sen. Binta Masi Garba described herself as an epitome of God’s grace and mercy, saying she was rejected as a child yet God accepted her, and lifted her from selling bread, akara, groundnuts, moimoi and other things to where she is today. She added that God uses the stupid things of this life to confound the wisdom of men.
She further appreciated God for helping her thus far, stating that she has never sought for help outside the church.
The founder, International Praise Church, Bishop Fred Addo, who delivered a message during the occasion, took his reading from Psalm 92:1-2 and stated that when we give thanks to God, it shows that we recognise the things God has been doing in our lives.
According to him,’thank you’ is the first sign of humility and acknowledgment of our success as a function of divine help, stressing that Hon. Binta Masi never takes for granted kindness, support and care.
Goodwill messages were also delivered by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Deputy Senate President, Speaker House of Representatives and others.
The programme was attended by wife of Taraba State Governor and her entourage, Senators, Adamawa State Deputy Governor, family members of the celebrant, friends, well wishers and top Government functionaries within and outside the state.
