Wife of the Taraba State Governor, Barr. Anna Darius Ishaku has called on groups to use their areas of advantage to support one another.
Barr. Ishaku stated this during a courtesy visit to her by various groups in the State today at the Hope Afresh Foundation Office, Jalingo.
The wife of the Governor who described the gathering as a forum to rub minds, stressed that it will afford them the opportunity to understand each other as well as explore means of helping one another based on information shared as Government cannot do everything for everybody.
According to her, despite individual challenges, everyone has something to offer to Society, she therefore encouraged the groups to look within and explore avenues of affecting the lives of others.
She further urged interested persons to register their names at the Foundation so as to facilitate skills acquisition to empower them.
Earlier at the event, the various groups who spoke through their representatives appreciated God for the victory at the Supreme court, stating that it was the will of God.
They appreciated the Governor’s wife for putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged, adding that they have seen the sincerity of purpose in her as she is doing a holistic work, thereby calling her a working woman.
Groups that converged the Foundation include; Gindiri Old Students Association, Nature Gift Concept, Kauna Women Association, Miwa Women Group, Widows Association and Spoken Word Women Fellowship.
Others are,Taraba Emergence Leaders League, Association of Ichen Daughters and Wives in Nigeria, Soda Kauna Multipurpose Cooperative Society, PDP Loyal Group and NLC Women Wing.
