Taraba State Governor Described as a Transparent and Accountable Leader

The Taraba State Governor, Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku has been described as a transparent and accountable leader within the short period of time and commitment displayed in discharging his responsibilities.

These were the commendations disclosed by the President of Trade Union Congress, Comrade Bobboi Kaigama and the Managing Director Tourism Board, Jalingo, Mr Cyprin James during an exclusive interview with our Taravoices correspondent today in the state capital.

DDIComrade Bobboi Kaigama, while emphasizing the effort put in place by the Executive Governor of Taraba state said, civil servants have to create an enabling environment for the government to achieve the Rescue Mission.

He stressed the need for the government to continue the good work of taking the infrastructural development to greater height.

Adding that the state is blessed with potentials in the areas of Agriculture and Tourism, which if properly utilised will create job opportunities for the Youths.

On his part the Managing Director Tourism Board Mr Cyprin Aji James said “the rescue posture in the state, transcends the boundary of mere rhetoric, pointing out that the governor had indeed shown interest in taking the state to the next level”.

While listing the areas of development the M.D said, “water and power supply in the state has improved unlike in the previous administrations”.

He stressed that Tourism budget is on the process which was approved by the governor in order to showcase the potentials of the state especially the Ibi river site.

They unanimously called on Tarabans to shown political parties differences and rally round the Executive Governor of Taraba state Arc Darius Dickson Ishaku to ensure the success of his Rescue Mission by promoting merit, accountability, transparency, probity, economy, efficiency, fairness, reliability and ethical standards as essential elements of good governance.
