Wife of the Taraba State Governor Barr. Anna Darius Ishaku has urged Tarabans to utilize opportunities provided by the Centre for Peace and Development to promote peace and economic development in the state.
She stated this when she inspected various items exhibited by the centre and other related organizations in Jalingo.
The Governor’s wife commended the initiator of the centre, Innocent Solomon for his noble idea in contributing to the sustenance of peace, development and security in the state.
Earlier, in his remarks, Reverend Innocent Solomon assured the Governor’s wife that the centre will support the state government in its rescue mission through the sustenance of peace.
He explained that the centre which is a peacebuilding institution seeks collaboration with the Governor’s wife to address peace related issues.
Highlights of the visit is the presentation of certificates to the Information Communication Technology (ICT) graduates of the centre by the Governor’s wife.
