Women Charged to be Catalyst for Peace

 

Women AffairsThe Director General, Rescue Mission House Campaign Organization of Darius Dickson Ishaku DDI , Abdul-azeez Amfani has called on Women in the State to Close rank and work for the interest of the State as they are the catalyst for peace and national development.

The Director General made the call while inaugurating the Women wing of the Rescue Mission House in Jalingo.

Abdul-azeez explained that the present Administration is poised towards ensuring that Women are engaged in profitable ventures that would improve their standard of living.

He called on them to ensure unity among them because government has concluded its plans and would start training women in various skills such as Soap making, hairdressing, tailoring and weaving.

Speaking shortly after the inauguration, the Women leader of the Rescue Mission House, Deborah Stephen thanked God and the DDI campaign Organization for the confidence reposed in her and promised to put in her best.

Those inaugurated are Deborah Stephen as women leader, Mary Amos deputy Women leader, Maryam Pius as Public Relations Officer. While Beatrice Thomas is to serve as Secretary.
